English-taught modules

Core modules in English

In addition to modules offered to improve your English language skills and in accordance with study and examination regulations, the following core modules are offered exclusively in English:

  • Introduction to Distributed Systems in the degree programme Computer Science for students in their 4th semester (summer semester).
  • Information Security Management (Specialisation 2 in Information Security) for students in their 7th semester (winter semester).

English-taught core modules upon request

In accordance with study and examination regulations, the modules below may be offered in English. These courses are usually offered in English as soon as a student from a foreign partner university attends the module without sufficient German language skills:

Additionally, approximately eight modules are offered in English during the International Week in the summer semester.
