Parking
There is a car park for about 250 vehicles under the building. It is closed with a barrier. If this barrier is open, feel free to use the car park. The barrier will open automatically when you drive out.
If the barrier is closed, please use the public parking along the street opposite the building.
THWS staff, students of our Faculty as well as sessional lecturers can open the barrier with their THWS Card. There is a separate area within the car park designated for staff and sessional lecturers which is closed with an additional barrier.
From the car park you can reach the Lecture Building via the lift near the entrance/exit. You can reach the Institute Building via the lift in the staff area of the car park.
Bicycle and motorbike parking
You can park your bicycle or motorbike
- on the area outside and left of the Lecture Building
- in the car park under the building (spaces are limited)
Directions for public transport
During the day, you can reach as by bus 214. The bus starts at the bus station (bus platform 2, in front of Würzburg main station) and terminates about 20 minutes later at THWS. In the evenings or on weekends, please use bus 110 or 114 and alight at the stop in front of the Hubland site of Julius-Maximilians University Würzburg. Within a ten minutes’ walk you will then reach our building.
