In the winter semester 2018/19 and in the course of this module, a lecture on the introduction of the programming language Java was developed for students of our partner university in Shenzhen (China). In the process, our students first learned about different didactic methods and used the seminar to discuss the applicability to the expected study situation in China. Subsequently, study materials, exercises, and various kinds of assessments were developed.

During the field trip in November 2018 to the International Week of Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU), the course was tested with 40 Chinese students and the success of the application of different teaching methods was evaulated.

The International Week of SZTU takes place annually, now in September. This course could have been offered again in the summer semester 2020.
