General Information
What is a Double Degree Programme
The double degree program allows students to study at two different universities and thus obtain two degrees, gain valuable international experience, and expand your academic knowledge.
Advantages:
- International perspektive:
Immerse yourself in a different culture, language, and academic system. Gain new international perspectives that are becoming increasingly valuable in today's world. - Improved career opportunities
Degrees from two universities can enhance your resume and make you attractive to international employers - Diverse learning environment:
Experience different teaching methods, research opportunities, and approaches in the field of computer science that will expand your skills.
How does a Double Degree Programm work?
In general, you will study for five or six semesters at your home university (i.e., THWS) and then transfer to one of our double degree partner universities for two semesters.
By completing all required modules and passing the exams, you will fulfill the academic requirements for degrees from both universities (THWS + partner university).
The specific structure may vary depending on the program and the universities involved.
Which university can I go to?
We currently offer double degrees with two partner universities in the field of computer science (i.e., bachelor's degree program in computer science):
- Tampere University of Applied Sciences (Tampere, Finland)
- Unicorn University of Applied Sciences (Prag, Czech Republic)
- Christ University (Bangalore, India) --> In progress
Which language skills are required?
English language skills at level B2 are required, as the courses at the partner universities are taught in English.
