Successful International Week at our faculty

From 3 to 7 June, our faculty held its annual International Week, which has been an integral part of our program for over 15 years. This special week offers our students a good opportunity to gain international experience directly on-site, a valuable component of our internationalization strategy at home.

As part of the International Week, 6th-semester students had the opportunity to take an elective module in English. The compact format made it possible to work intensively on the modules within a week. This year, six modules were offered at the Bachelor's level and one module at the Master's level.

The international participation of the lecturers was particularly pleasing: Colleagues traveled to us from Iceland, Finland, the United Kingdom, India, and Romania to share their knowledge and didactic expertise with our students. One highlight was the first participation of a lecturer from our partner university in Lithuania, which further enriched the diversity and international exchange.

In addition to around 80 students from our faculty, 15 students from our partner university in Sheffield also took part in the International Week. In return, our students will be traveling to the International Week at Sheffield Hallam University next week.

We can look back on a successful International Week and are already looking forward to the next edition in May 2025. A big thank you to everyone involved who contributed to the success of this special week!
