Field trips
Within the framework of lectures, mostly in focus modules or for FWPM, our lecturers offer field trips abroad. In general, our partner universities are visited and our students collaborate with students of local faculties in the course of collaborative projects. These field trips are rounded off by visiting companies and by a short cultural framework programme.

India Gateway Program 23/24 mit Exkursion nach Bangalore, Indien
The FWPM "Software Industries, Education, and Economy in India", internally also "India Gateway Program" in short, has been offered every winter semester since 2009 for students in their third semester for all Bachelor's degree programmes.
- In a weekly seminar with presentations, the students learn about the history, culture, politics and the IT industry of India.
- In collaborative technical projects with students of the partner university Christ University in Bangalore, the students learn about the methods of the fellow students.
- After the examination period, the group travels to Bangalore and Mysore for a two-week field trip. The technical projects are completed, and the results are presented. Students visit companies (for example Infosys) and some sights in Bangalore and Mysore.
Each May or June, all students are invited about a information event on the next India Gateway Program and on requirements, process and costs.
